With his years of experience and personal understanding of what it takes to heal injuries and become and athlete, Alex leverages his past proven successes in strength and conditioning, and myofascial bodywork to help clients attain levels of success that few other coaches can.

Kyl is a local to Blaine County and has been a personal trainer in the Sun Valley for the last 7 years. He has been voted Top Trainer in the Sun Valley by the Sun Valley Guide for 3 years running. After graduating from Wood River High School, he moved to California and studied exercise science, attaining a degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, hiker, and CrossFitter. Through daily experiences with CrossFit programming, Kyl pushes himself as hard as he pushes his clients, seeking elite fitness right along side them. His passion for both teaching and participating in athletics helps him create a stimulating, encouraging and effective training environment, and he will stop at nothing to make sure everyone gets more results than they thought possible.

Kerri has lived and played in the Wood River Valley for the past 11 years enjoying the mountain lifestyle. She enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, trail running and a relaxing day with her kids at Red Fish Lake. A Professional Personal Trainer for 10 years, Kerri has taken a personal involvement in changing her clients’ bodies, diets and athletic habits towards a healthy lifestyle. She earned her Bachelors and Master of Arts degree in Human Services from Springfield College, where she also was part of the women’s rugby club and crew. Kerri believes in the positive attributes that CrossFit develops in the gym community and working as an individual and a team to reach personal fitness goals. Her CrossFit and kettlebell certifications have increased her knowledge and appreciation in physiological and functional training for all ages, levels and abilities.

Shannon is a long-time Wood River Valley resident. She is a multi-faceted personal trainer, coach, yoga instructor and wellness devotee. Shannon is an avid surfer, mountain biker, alpine skier, and softball player. She has been teaching yoga professionally for 9 years, and travels the world leading workshops and retreats. Her passion for sports both in and out of the gym motivates her to continually gain experience and knowledge she can pass along to her clients.

Bob is a Ketchum native who loves where he lives. He enjoys participating in many of the local activities including mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and skiing. He is a firm believer in maintaining and improving strength in all aspects of life. Bob’s CrossFit journey started at 5B CrossFit, and he continues to make gains today and is motivated to assist all members of the 5B CrossFit community.

Jordan grew up in Salt Lake City, UT spending most of his time hiking, skateboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, and mountain biking. He moved to Hailey, ID in 2000 to work as an arborist. He has been climbing trees recreationally, competitively, and professionally for 13 years. His objective as a CrossFit trainer is to provide a whole body wellness not just a workout. His passion for this fitness program is contagious!

COURTNEY SAMWAY
Courtney was born and raised in the Wood River Valley and grew up with a passion for living an active lifestyle. She believes the diversity of functional movements and intensities in CrossFit training drastically improve the health and fitness level of any person, as well as build confidence. She began training a few years ago after being in an accident that caused a severe back injury, and since that time has experienced a more rehabilitative and restorative outcome from CrossFit programming than with any physical therapy. Courtney loves the outdoors, snowboarding, skiing, yoga, and rock climbing. She is also a Wilderness Survival Instructor and Photographer.
