What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a fun & affordable program to get into amazing shape under the constant guidance of a professional trainer. Each workout takes place is a group class setting with at least one certified trainer leading the class. CrossFit workouts consist of weightlifting, cardio and body weight exercises. Our high intensity workouts will challenge you like never before and feed your competitive side while sharing in the camaraderie of your fellow fitness fanatics. Our clients love it! This is not your average gym experience. Know that we have people of all ages shapes and sizes in our gym and we scale the workoutsaccording to experience and ability level. Whether you are a Granny or a Super Stud, don’t be scared. Come to your first class for free, and find out how it will change your life, like so many before you.

5B CrossFit teaches fitness that is Universally Scalable, Constantly Varied, Functional Movements, High Intensity in Sun Valley and Hailey, Idaho.
Universally Scalable

CrossFit can be fine tuned to accommodate a wide variety of participants from novice to advanced across all age groups.

Constantly Varied

There is a different workout to perform EVERY DAY. This is referred to as the Workout of the Day or WOD.  Routine is the enemy!

Functional Movements

These may include multiple variations of Gymnastic Exercises, Bodyweight Calisthenics, Plyometrics, Olympic Weightlifting, and Metabolic (Cardiovascular) Conditioning. We concentrate on complex, full-body movements that are athletic in nature.

High Intensity

Simply put, most of the CrossFit exercises/movements require a consistent, coordinated, powerful execution of force (Power = Work÷Time).


World Class Fitness in 100 Words:

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. FREE Intro Class

Saturdays at 10:30am we offer a FREE Intro to CrossFit Class in both the Hailey and Sun Valley facilities. These classes are for people who are currently taking Elements and/or people who want to check out our program for the first time.
